The New Dynamics of Working

The ESRC has identified the ‘New Dynamics of Working’ as a potential area for future investment. Bids are invited from suitably qualified applicants to conduct a scoping study to explore demand for and existing work under way in this area, and to inform our decision-making in developing our research and knowledge exchange activity - both in terms of commissioning new work and of facilitating collaboration between existing research teams, ESRC and non-ESRC funded.

A fee of up to £10,000, exclusive of VAT if applicable, is offered to cover all costs incurred in the production of the scoping study.

ITTs - Monday 17 June 2013Tenders due - 19 July 2013Decisions to applicants, contract offer - 25 July 2013Work starts - 29 July 2013Draft report due - 23 September 2013Final report due - 4 October 2013Bids should be no longer than three sides of A4, in the following format:Summary of the applicant’s relevant expertise and experience, including reference to any relevant similar work undertakenDiscussion of the requirements of the workWork programme and timing
A brief description of the expected progress of the workCosts
All costs related to the work should be detailed and justified

In addition, an outline CV (no more than 2 sides of A4) should be provided for all proposed team members.

Bids should be sent as a single email attachment, in an industry standard format, marked 'PROTECT CONTRACTS' in the subject line, using font size 12, to ian.farnden@esrc.ac.uk by 16.00 on 19 July 2013. Bids received after this time will not be considered.
